In late July, Emerald City Games and publisher Tilting Point addressed players. They warned that they would soon stop selling the game Star Trek Legends on digital services, including Steam.
According to the published announcement, players will soon lose the ability to download Star Trek Legends, and later the ability to launch the game will be disabled (servers will be shut down):
Today, we are forced to announce unpleasant news: Star Trek: Legends will be closed. As part of this process, from August 20, 2026, Star Trek: Legends will no longer be available for download from digital stores. Players who downloaded the game before this date will be able to continue playing until September 3, 2026, when the game's servers will be shut down and it will become unavailable for launch.
Star Trek Legends is a team-based role-playing game based on the popular "Star Trek" franchise, featuring various characters from this universe. Players can collect characters and complete story missions.
The developers of Star Trek Legends have not yet set a discount on Steam. A premium add-on, Enemies & Allies Content Pack, which includes the storyline "Two Noble Cardassians," is also available for the game.
