Reaper Actual launched in "early access" at the end of May. The developers from Distinct Possibility Studios position their project as a persistent open-world shooter where "hundreds of players fight each other in FPS battles" and against 5 NPC factions on the war-torn island of Marova.
They released several patches for the game, which were intended to improve optimization, fix bugs, and add content. However, the project did not become a big hit, and the online player count gradually decreased. At the end of July, the creators of Reaper Actual launched a free access promotion to attract attention.
According to SteamDB data, this promotion has not yet significantly helped attract an audience to Reaper Actual. The record peak online of 70 players was registered several months ago, and recently it has been within 5 – 15 players. After the start of the "free weekend," the online player count rose to 28 users.
