This summer, the creators of the free-to-play battle royale Naraka: Bladepoint collaborated with "The King's Avatar" (or Quanzhi Gaoshou) franchise. The game added themed content.
Studio 24 Entertainment introduced the character Ye Xiu from "The King's Avatar". The developers explained that his skill set was carefully designed to reflect the tactical style of the original character:
This is much more than just a "cosmetic reskin". His combat mechanics are built around rapid movement, counterattacks, and flexible combo chains, while combining powerful area damage and impressive burst damage to a single target.
They also introduced the first transforming weapon in Naraka: Bladepoint, the "Thousand-faced Umbrella". Players will be able to switch forms between "umbrella, shield, and axe to adapt to different combat situations":
Unfurled – scatters strikes like a sudden downpour and swirling petals. Folded – returns to the wrist, like a dragon coiled in its lair. There is no fixed form – only an uninterrupted change of attack and defense.
