The anime action game DragonSword: Awakening surpassed 200,000 copies sold in its first week after its PC release. This was announced by developers and publishers from HOUND13.

Simultaneously, the studio announced the start of development for PlayStation and Nintendo versions of the game.

DragonSword: Awakening was released on Steam on July 23, 2026, priced at $29.99. Before its release, the game accumulated over 450,000 wish list additions, and its peak online concurrent players reached approximately 23,000.

The project is built on Unreal Engine 5 and tells the story of a young traveler, Lyut, who journeys across the open world of the Orbis continent. His path is connected to the return of a dragon that nearly destroyed the region 60 years ago.

The game features 19 heroes with different ability effects. Players can combine attacks, use Signal Skills, and switch between characters to create team combinations.

In addition to battles, in Orbis, players can explore meadows, underwater locations, caves, and dungeons, complete quests, collect ingredients, and tame Familiars.

HOUND13 will continue to improve the Steam version. Plans include UI updates, improved accessibility, translations, voice acting, new characters, and story content.
