Recently, Sir, We Have an Orc Problem by Mumpitz Games was released on PC via Steam. Outwardly, the new game looks very simple, yet it managed to attract a large audience.

The peak online concurrent players exceeded 7600, and it received "very positive" reviews, with an 86% rating.

From a gameplay perspective, Sir, We Have an Orc Problem is a tower defense game with incremental progression elements. Players are tasked with defending their base from an invading orc horde – using lasers, bombs, and a massive amount of bullets. Regardless of victory or defeat, players will receive resources in each playthrough, which they can then use to unlock upgrades, bringing them closer to defeating the orc horde.

Mumpitz Games boasted about their revenue: "In the first 24 hours after the release of our game, which took 4 months to develop, we generated a gross revenue of $361,657."

This game was made by two developers, and they claim to have invested only $200 in marketing – paying for participation in the Best Indie Games Summer Showcase 2026, which "wasn't worth it." While working on their game, they posted on social media, and bloggers noticed the project after the first playtest, so it launched with 100,000 wishlists.

The Sir, We Have an Orc Problem page on Steam is available at the following link. There will be a 10% discount on the game until August 11.
