Players Dislike New Suit in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 - Modder Adds "Correct" Version from Fortnite

This summer, Insomniac Games and Sony Interactive Entertainment released an update for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on consoles and PC, which added several new suits to the game.

One is in the cell shading style from the fighting game MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, and another is inspired by the movie "Spider-Man: Brand New Day". Some players compared Insomniac Games' version to the "cinematic" one and were not impressed.

Players of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 noted incorrect color correction and a lack of detailed textures. However, the launch of a new Spider-Man movie was also celebrated in another game — Fortnite. A modder under the nickname assk8 drew attention to the superhero skin, which, according to players, Epic Games did much better. He decided to port it to Insomniac Games' project.

The "Fortnite Brand New Day Port" modification for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is distributed for free via Nexus Mods. The initial reviews are very positive — players don't understand why Insomniac Games' version is so inferior in quality to "a game not about Spider-Man" (Fortnite).
