Post-Soviet extraction horror shooter with monsters released on Steam
This summer, DeadGrass Games studio released the Dreadweave project on PC via Steam in "early access" format. The new game is positioned as an extraction horror shooter in a post-Soviet setting.
According to the plot, the main character finds himself in a closed military town in the far north, where a secret experiment went wrong and split reality into two layers: our world and the Otherworld. The world changes and the rule of extraction shooter with loot loss upon death applies.
Players will have to go on raids to find ammunition, equipment, resources, and deliver the loot to the bunker:
A large snow-covered Soviet city, changing weather, day and night cycles, cunning enemies, constantly changing loot, and no two raids will be alike. Every trip to the city is a unique experience. Make it out in time or lose everything.
The developers of Dreadweave expect the game to remain in "early access" for about a year. The current version includes the main gameplay loop, the first act of the story, the main map, and key mechanics. By release, the authors plan to add the full story, more monsters and mini-bosses, expand the map, and more.
