August 3rd marked three years since the full release of Baldur's Gate 3. Shortly before this date, the developers offered the game its biggest discount since its launch.
Larian Studios addressed the community:

The game also received a similar discount in other digital stores: PlayStation Store and GOG.
Baldur's Gate 3 managed to take eighth place in the overall sales chart this weekend (chart results for the week may vary):

Currently, Larian Studios is working on a new Divinity. The developers have made it clear that they do not plan to return to Baldur's Gate 3.
Meanwhile, some enthusiasts are independently creating new content for the game. Members of the Baldur's Gate 3 community are developing a large-scale mod campaign, Path to Menzoberranzan.
