Crimson Desert broke after update - two patches released fixing bugs with AMD graphics cards and more

Recently, a major update with new content was released for Crimson Desert. Pearl Abyss studio offered players a new mechanic that allows them to engage in investments, and also added many trading posts and various goods.

Soon, players began to report technical problems. The developers prepared a couple of small hotfix patches.

The first update "1.16.01" was designed to fix a bug related to the operation of the trading interface:

Fixed an issue where, after loading goods into a wagon in the regional Wagon Workshop during "Trading", the interface of available storages in the Camp – Personal Storage, Feeder, Collection box, etc. – was displayed as the "Wagon Cargo Hold" interface.

The second update "1.16.02" was larger. The authors of Crimson Desert fixed a technical problem on Mac; bugs related to AMD graphics cards, and also eliminated the black screen error:

  • [AMD] Fixed an issue where the image was displayed incorrectly when the Ray Regeneration feature was enabled on Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics cards and newer models.
  • [Mac] Fixed an issue where the game crashed when launched on Mac with MetalFX Denoising Upscaler enabled.
  • Fixed an issue where the interior decoration function was unavailable in housing mode in some situations.
  • Fixed an issue where, in some cases, after launching the game, when loading a save, the loading screen did not disappear or a black screen appeared, preventing entry into the game.
