Nintendo has announced one of the most unusual updates to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack this year. The Nintendo Classics library will feature Super Mario Sunshine and two Virtual Boy games that were never officially released before.
On August 4, subscribers will gain access to the adventure platformer Dragon Hopper, a top-down game where players explore multi-level labyrinths, and the futuristic racing game Zero Racers, inspired by the F-Zero series. Both projects were developed for Virtual Boy but never went on sale.
On August 13, the catalog will be updated with Super Mario Sunshine from GameCube. Nintendo promises a version that will be closer to the original 2002 release than the edition from the Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection. Specifically, analog trigger support will return when using a GameCube controller.
Previously, these games were only known through prototypes and promotional materials, so this will be the first time they are officially available to players.
