Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced preserved an Easter egg from the original - a scene with the bodies of hanged pirates at the entrance to the bay.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced has retained one of the most subtle Easter eggs from the original game. Players can once again witness a scene reminiscent of the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl," which is based on real events from the era of piracy.

This refers to the bodies of hanged pirates at the entrance to one of the bays. This episode is easy to miss while exploring the world, although movie fans will immediately recognize it as a reference to the beginning of the film, where Jack Sparrow arrives in Port Royal, sailing past gallows with executed corsairs.

This scene has a historical basis. Colonial authorities and naval fleets indeed displayed the bodies of executed pirates near ports and sea routes to deter others. Such a practice existed in the Caribbean region and in London, where similar warnings could be seen as late as the 19th century.

The remake has preserved this element, recalling the film and the harsh realities of the era of piracy.
