Valve traditionally summarizes the financial results of the past week on Steam. The statistics cover the period from July 28 to August 4.

Once again, Valve's free-to-play hits — Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 — were at the top. The top three is rounded out by the fresh release Mistfall Hunter: a role-playing extraction-action game set in a dark fantasy world.

Cyberpunk 2077 and Baldur’s Gate 3 broke into the top ten: the games are currently on deep discounts. The premiere of the film "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" contributed to the growth in sales of Marvel's Spider-Man games.
