Microsoft is working on a new system for appealing Xbox account blocks. This was reported by journalist Jez Corden, citing his sources.
According to him, the company is creating a separate and faster mechanism for users whose accounts have been mistakenly blocked. This will allow them to regain access to purchased games and services more quickly without lengthy appeals to standard customer support.
Corden claims that many erroneous blocks are related to the operation of Microsoft's general account management systems, rather than decisions by the Xbox team.
The company is actively reviewing accumulated appeals. In recent weeks, many users who received unjustified blocks have been able to regain access to their profiles.
The new system should automate the appeal process, reduce review time, and free players from the need to contact consultants. Microsoft has not yet officially announced the changes.
