In August, Escape from Tarkov developers not only launched the first season in the game but also celebrated an important milestone for the project — the alpha test anniversary.
Battlestate Games published an address to the community:
10 years ago, the alpha test of Escape from Tarkov began — the first 10,000 players received their invitations and laid the foundation for the extraction shooter genre. And 10 years later, we continue to expand the Tarkov universe thanks to you!
Escape from Tarkov continues to evolve. Recently, the developers introduced several technical updates designed to improve balance and fix some bugs with quests, achievements, and more:
- Fixed an issue where players did not receive side quests from Prapor after the first dialogue with him;
- Made minor balancing changes to side quests;
- Fixed an issue where players received Kord Breach season achievements in PvP mode;
- Fixed the cause of incorrect processing of Q and E key inputs in some cases;
- Fixed the disappearance of parts of the environment in the observer camera in some cases;
- Fixed a bug that led to incorrect reputation values being awarded for side quests.
Along with the first season, a free battle pass was added to Escape from Tarkov. To receive rewards, players need to find different types of documents that appear in certain locations in "Tarkov". New promo codes for gifts have also appeared.
