Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is a single-player role-playing game about the adventures of Jindřich (Henry), but some players have requested multiplayer. A modder under the nickname F02K will try to satisfy this request.
He recently announced that he and like-minded people are developing a framework (platform) for multiplayer in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II: "It is being created for dedicated community servers. The server can be configured even without any programming knowledge."
F02K published several teasers and said that he is working on a system that will allow players to own real estate:
If you own property, you will be able to grant other players access as workers or assign them to any other roles available for that property. In KCD II, there are some properties where you can rent a room for a night in single-player; this will also be implemented in multiplayer. Prices will be set by the owner, and the amount the client has to pay will be calculated based on how much time has passed on the server.
This screenshot shows a "test player" that the modder spawned via the server console:
Currently, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II multiplayer does not have a release date or release window.
Currently, Warhorse Studios is developing a new Kingdom Come game, as well as a game based on "Middle-earth" – both open-world RPGs. The studio has not yet announced specific release dates for the new products.
