According to insider billbil-kun, Diablo IV will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 on September 15 or 18. The exact date is still unknown, but the release is expected on one of these days.
The insider also reported that the game will cost 69.99 dollars or euros and will be available in a boxed edition. However, there will be no cartridge inside the package – buyers will only receive a download code. It is currently unknown whether the Lord of Hatred expansion will be included in the edition or if it will have to be purchased separately.
The official announcement may take place at Gamescom, where Xbox has already confirmed its participation in honor of the brand's 25th anniversary.
Earlier, Diablo series head Rod Fergusson stated that Nintendo Switch 2 handles Diablo IV without any problems.
