In early August, GamesVoice studio reminded about the creation of Russian dubbing for South Park: The Stick of Truth. This time, the localizers published a lengthy video demonstrating the gameplay.
However, GamesVoice clarified that this presentation does not mean that the dubbing will be released in the coming days:
This does not mean that the release is tomorrow, or next month, or the month after next. We are currently testing the already mixed material, and there are still re-recordings of omissions, as well as corrections, ahead. In general, we are very busy with work, and... not just with work.
Voice actors Evgeny Rybov and Maria Tryndyaykina are involved in the creation of the Russian dubbing for South Park: The Stick of Truth — these voices are familiar to South Park fans from the MTV translation.
The pair has been working on this project for a long time, and now they are collaborating with GamesVoice:
Earlier, GamesVoice stated that its task is to make "a wonderful initiative a fully formed product, available to everyone":
It is necessary to thoroughly study the files, identify omissions and defects, re-record and re-dub what is necessary, mix all the sound, write software and integrate the dubbing into the game, conduct testing, and correct possible errors.
Judging by the recent teaser, the Russian dubbing for South Park: The Stick of Truth is indeed "close to completion".
