Recently, the creators of Crimson Desert have been actively releasing small hotfix updates for the game. Now they have introduced a full-fledged patch 1.17.00.
Usually, "patches" are major updates, but in this case, only a set of technical fixes and localization improvements are offered.
Pearl Abyss studio stated that they fixed an error where the progress of one of the "Desperate Rescue" challenges was incorrectly counted. Various localization errors were also fixed, and text quality was improved for all languages.
In addition, the developers reported that they resolved the issue with character footsteps – they could overlap during movement, and the animation would be interrupted. This problem should no longer occur.
Other changes in patch 1.17.00 for Crimson Desert:
- Fixed an issue where an unobtainable treasure chest icon was displayed on the map.
- Fixed an issue where the trade route was incorrectly displayed on the map.
- Fixed an issue where another item was automatically added to the quick slot after all food added to it was used.
- Fixed an issue where the functions of special headwear worked incorrectly in certain situations.
The developers did not say when they plan to release the next update for the game.
