Late last month, Alkimia Interactive and THQ Nordic released update 1.0.4 for Gothic 1 Remake. Now, they have announced the release of a hotfix that includes several fixes.
Soon after installation, "Gothic" fans began to report critical errors in main story quests that could lead to a complete blockage of progression. For example, in one chapter, Milten might not appear for a meeting with the Nameless – this problem should now be resolved.
The developers stated that they fixed a bug where "Milten does not appear at the lighthouse meeting."
In addition, a bug was fixed where the stats of the second ring were not applied when equipped. Problems with picking up quest items from dismembered bodies (e.g., from Orc Shamans, Ulu-Mulu components, and similar) were also resolved.
