Take-Two Confident in Success, Players Will Buy Even More Expensive Consoles for GTA VI

The gaming industry is facing a challenging situation, with device prices reaching record highs. Despite this, Take-Two Interactive management remains calm about the future.

Company CEO Strauss Zelnick stated that the price increase for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S will not negatively impact Grand Theft Auto VI sales. Take-Two expects an absolute record in the game's popularity, despite financial barriers for new console buyers.

During a conversation with investors, Zelnick acknowledged that high console prices are disadvantageous for the entire industry. More affordable devices would increase the number of potential players. However, the head of Take-Two is confident that the increase in hardware prices will not be an obstacle for GTA VI: players are willing to spend money on the highest quality gaming experiences.

Analysts and Take-Two management believe that the release of GTA 6 will be the main driver of console sales. Many users who have postponed upgrading to the new generation due to high prices may purchase a device specifically for the Rockstar Games title.
