Square Enix is nearing the completion of one of the most ambitious projects in its history. After Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, a third part will be released, which will conclude the updated story of Cloud and his friends. Many questions about the finale remain unanswered, but new materials will appear soon.
Final Fantasy 7 Revelation will be shown at Opening Night Live during gamescom. Game director Naoki Hamaguchi will present a brand new segment during Geoff Keighley's event. The showing will take place on August 25. Square Enix has not yet specified whether it will be story material, gameplay demonstration, or a new trailer.
The release of Final Fantasy 7 Revelation is scheduled for spring 2027. Hamaguchi has already confirmed that the game will indeed conclude the entire story, and the ending will be included in the main version – the developers are not going to move it to paid DLC. Now it remains to be seen how much Square Enix decides to show in August.
