DigixArt and THQ Nordic have released a teaser for a new game featuring John and Fanny from Road 96, hinting at trouble befalling the characters.

Road 96 left possibilities for a continuation of its story. DigixArt studio, together with THQ Nordic, has released a teaser that hints at a new game. From the short video, it's clear that something bad has happened to John and Fanny.

John is driving and doesn't know if Fanny is alive after some incident. He feels relieved to hear her voice, and she is glad to hear his. Alex is not mentioned in the teaser, so the events might continue the ending where Tyrak solidified his dictatorial regime.

It is still unknown what role Zoe will play in the new story. After Road 96: Mile 0, the character became more developed and received additional growth.

The creators have not yet revealed the details.
