The first story DLC for Reanimal has been released. The Prisoner begins a new story with two characters trying to survive amidst destruction and war. THQ Nordic also unveiled a release trailer.
The expansion will feature new locations in an "unexplored corner" of the game world and "unexpected twists." The Prisoner will team up with the Soldier – they will have to work together to survive. However, the heroes will face something even more dangerous than an enemy with a flamethrower.
The Prisoner will be the first of three chapters in the new storyline. The next two expansions will also focus on the Prisoner and the Soldier. How their stories will intersect with the events of the main game is yet unknown.
Reanimal is available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. The game was developed by Tarsier Studios, creators of Little Nightmares and Little Nightmares 2. The story centers on a Boy and a Girl trying to save their friends in a nightmarish world.
