Recently, the creators of the truck driver simulator American Truck Simulator presented a new dev diary dedicated to the development of the British Columbia add-on.
SCS Software decided to show tunnels, as well as snow protection structures, which are an integral part of the Canadian province's transport network. Some have become unique landmarks, for example, players will be able to see one of the most recognizable structures, the Great Bear Snow Shed:
This impressive concrete structure, built to protect motorists from avalanches and falling snow, has become an iconic symbol of one of British Columbia's most challenging mountain routes.
While completing orders in British Columbia, players will be able to drive through many other tunnels. The developers recreated images of bears and other features of the protective structures and tunnels.
As usual, the presented shots in the selection are from the “work in progress” series, meaning they do not reflect the final quality of the content.
You can add the British Columbia add-on for American Truck Simulator to your Steam wishlist by following this link. The developers have not yet announced a specific release date or window for the DLC.
