Ashborne Games studio and publisher THQ Nordic recently released a new trailer for The Guild - Europa 1410. The creators of the economic simulator showed some gameplay mechanics.
Players in this installment of the franchise will begin their journey as the head of a very young dynasty and will manage a very modest enterprise. Over the years, as the business grows, they will have to expand the family's influence, and then choose heirs to whom the business will pass.
Players will be able to master trade and production, through which they can get rich:
Cunning and diplomacy will help you outmaneuver competitors. Create your legacy and take actions whose consequences will affect future generations of your clan. Strategically advantageous alliances, cunning plans, or open conflicts – it's up to you to decide how you will come to power.
Influence in the city cannot be gained by "economic methods" alone, so players will also have to immerse themselves in political life.
