Recently, Shiro Games studio decided to return to Wartales. A major update has been prepared for the medieval RPG, which players can try out now.
The developers presented a trailer, addressed the community, and announced the start of open beta testing for the update:
Greetings, mercenaries! Community Update #7 is on its way, and we need your help to test its new features! The open beta will be available to all Wartales players.
Players will be able to experience new equipment, maps, and also evaluate the Prisoner rework (skill tree updated and more).
You can join the beta testing of the update through Wartales properties in Steam in the "betas" section – no special password will be required to gain access. The developers recommend creating a backup of your save to avoid losing progress in the current public version of Wartales.
The release of the free update for Wartales is scheduled for September 7 of this year. The developers have not yet published a full patch note.
