Moomin: Midsummer Madness is an adventure point-and-click game based on the works of Tove Jansson. Players will take control of Moomintroll and Little My, who find themselves in an old theater flooded due to severe flooding. The heroes will have to find their way home, solving puzzles, completing tasks, and meeting familiar characters.
The developers are betting on calm and friendly gameplay for players of all ages. The world is hand-drawn in the style of Jansson's original works. The game will also feature mini-games and a hint system.
The project is being developed by Crossbridge Game Studios and publisher Shochiku Games. Moomin: Midsummer Madness will be released in autumn 2026 on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. The exact date has not yet been announced.
