Control Resonant will feature a crazy subway with trains attacking from all sides
Remedy showed a fragment of Control Resonant with the Metro Fault location, where trains attack the hero from all axes of movement.
Remedy Entertainment showed a new game fragment featuring Metro Fault, one of Manhattan's "dungeons." Dylan goes there despite Zoe's warning. Here, trains pursue people, leaving no survivors.
The situation is complicated by the fact that trains move along all possible axes. Dylan can change position on different surfaces, dodging and simultaneously fighting Mold enemies. Some need to be attacked quickly, others first need to be broken through with heavy blows, and then finished off. The Aberrant, a glowing ability that allows attacking ground and flying enemies, was also shown in combat.
In Metro Fault, Dylan will also meet Jesse's sister. She is trying not to forget something and admits that she woke Dylan not for help, but to "escape."
Here, the hero will also gain the Reach ability, which works like a grappling hook. After completing the dungeon, fast travel will unlock, which may be useful at the end of the game or in New Game Plus.
Control Resonant will be released on September 24, 2026, on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
