Fallout 76 to get a dark update soon - "dark content" announced
Bethesda Game Studios is preparing new content for Fallout 76, and a small teaser recently appeared. It seems that the update will differ in tone from the usual adventures that the authors offered to players.
Fallout 76 Creative Director Jonathan Rush addressed players on social media:
Attention, Wastelanders! There's a lot of exciting new content coming to Fallout 76 that we can't wait to tell you all about. We'll be revealing it very soon (VERY soon)… we've been busy!
According to the developer, this is "dark content." He did not disclose additional details about the upcoming update.
It is not yet known what Bethesda Game Studios means by "dark content." Players speculate that something literal is meant, such as a dark location (dungeon) or a special event that will take place at night. There is also a version that a "grim story" is implied.
The developers of Fallout 76 have not yet announced when they plan to release this "dark content."
