The developer plays the new project a lot.

In August, the creators of the space sandbox No Man's Sky celebrated the project's anniversary. In honor of this, the head of Hello Games studio gave an interview to the media and spoke about future plans.

During the conversation with journalists, Sean Murray also spoke about Light No Fire – the studio's new project, which was announced at The Game Awards 2023 event.

For example, in an interview with GamesRadar+, he noted that currently, 12 to 20 people work on Light No Fire every day. This, Murray explained, is an “average” team size, and he also reminded that at the release of No Man's Sky, about 15 developers were working on the game, and before its release, only six specialists were responsible for the game. Therefore, at that time, expanding the team to 15 people was perceived as a “major event.”

Sean Murray shared with Kotaku that he plays Light No Fire almost every day, but for now, he is not ready to name a specific release date for the project or an approximate release window. He also noted that the team has “long been ready to share something more” and he looks forward to when fans realize how ambitious their new project is. The creators would like to support the game for a very long time, like No Man's Sky.
