Ubisoft Entertainment has released a trailer for new content for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. The developers talked about the upcoming Broken Rain update.
According to the story, Hurricane Morgan is approaching rural Pennsylvania, where the Rikers have seized a dam and hydroelectric power plant – one of the last operating on the East Coast:
The water level in the reservoir is rising, and the facility is under threat. Agents must breach the Rikers' fortifications, eliminate the leaders controlling the stronghold, and secure the dam before the storm causes catastrophic damage.
Those who complete the "Broken Rain Incursion" within the first 24 hours will receive the Golden Beaver and Silver Beaver Arm Patches. Those who complete the challenge within the first seven days will only receive the Silver Beaver patch.
The developers also showed off exotic weapons and a teaser for the Broken Rain pass:
The release of the Broken Rain content update for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is scheduled for August 11.
Currently, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is part of the Steam sale: until August 18, the base version of the game has a 75% discount, the Gold Edition has 75%, and the Ultimate Edition has 60%. The game is available not only on PC but also on Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
