It Takes Two may be released on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. The project, which received the title "Game of the Year" in 2021, according to a fresh leak, will appear on October 15, 2026, on Nintendo Switch 2.
The information became known thanks to documents from an Asian distributor, which were obtained by industry media. The schedule of the publisher Electronic Arts indicates exactly this date. The game should also be released on physical media, but the cartridge will be used as a key to download files larger than 12.1 GB.
The original It Takes Two from Hazelight Studios was released in 2021 on PC and major consoles, and a year later it reached Nintendo Switch. Despite the good optimization of the portable version, Switch 2 will allow the game to be released with significantly higher resolution and improved visual effects.
