Mortal Shell II is entering the final stretch before its release. Studio Cold Symmetry and publisher Playstack have revealed the game's size on consoles and preload dates. The premiere will take place on August 20, 2026.
On PS5, the game will require 32.179 GB of free space. The Xbox Series X/S version will take up approximately 31.6 GB. On PC, significantly more will be needed – 70 GB and an SSD.
Owners of the Devout Edition will receive three days of early access starting August 17, with preloading beginning on August 15. For the standard edition, downloads will become available on August 18.
The sequel will offer improved graphics and a larger open world full of mysteries. Players will once again be able to inhabit the bodies of fallen warriors and gain their abilities. At the same time, the developers have abandoned the traditional stamina bar, so battles should become even more dynamic and challenging.
