According to Focus Entertainment, completing the main storyline will take approximately 20 hours.
The game is being developed by Asobo Studio. It is a single-player action-adventure game with new story elements set in the A Plague Tale universe. The main character will be a new protagonist.
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy will be released on August 27, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game will also be available on Game Pass from day one.
Focus Entertainment also revealed the storage requirements. Approximately 76 GB will be needed on PC, about 58 GB on PlayStation 5, and around 66 GB on Xbox Series X|S.
