The release of Grand Theft Auto VI is approaching, and Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick is actively giving interviews. Earlier this year, the manager took on the role of a wrestler – becoming a playable character in the WWE 2K26 simulator.

During a recent conversation, he shared the story of his appearance in the game. It turned out that Zelnick himself initiated his appearance in the game and also helped the developers – he participated in recording animations for his playable version. Zelnick not only leads Take-Two but also actively engages in sports:

How did it happen? I asked. I wish I could say there was huge demand for it internally and externally, but that wouldn't be true. I asked, and then I went to the set, recorded the movements, and we all had fun.

Strauss Zelnick said that he likes WWE and thought it would be fun if he appeared in WWE 2K26 as a playable fighter. However, the manager does not plan to appear in GTA VI in any form.

Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to be released in November of this year on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. It is likely that after the PC release, Zelnick's model may appear in the game thanks to modders.
