However, after a recent leak of a special version of the Nintendo Switch 2 and a new Pro Controller for Zelda's 40th anniversary, the situation has become more interesting.
According to the latest leaks, both devices will go on sale on November 19 – the same day GTA VI is released. Players have suggested that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake might also launch alongside them.
At first glance, releasing on the same day as GTA VI seems almost suicidal. Rockstar is preparing what is probably the biggest release in the industry's history. However, Nintendo has a huge dedicated audience, and Zelda is capable of selling consoles. Therefore, fans might simultaneously buy the remake, a special Switch 2, and a Pro Controller, even if GTA VI is released on the same day.
