Last summer, Arcane Alpacas studio and MicroProse Software publisher released the Dagger Directive project on PC via Steam in early access. Now they have announced the release of the full version of the game.
In terms of gameplay, Dagger Directive is a first-person tactical shooter. Players can determine their own strategy, choose equipment, and the time of day for the operation.
According to the plot, the international special operations task force Dagger will have to fight environmental terrorists in the Bering Sea, combat international crime in the South Pacific, and eliminate threats in Eastern Europe.
The developers note that in Dagger Directive, every projectile fired and every piece of shrapnel accounts for weight, distance, speed, and gravity. Players can use binoculars to determine the distance to the target to adjust their scope before firing, and analyze the target's speed and direction of movement.
The Dagger Directive page on Steam is available at the following link. A 25% discount will be active until August 27, and the game also has a bundle with GROUND BRANCH – a tactical shooter from the creator of the original Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon.
