Nikita Buyanov admitted his mistake - clarified the distribution of PvP and PvE players in Escape from Tarkov and warned about the postponement of the "Wild Life" DLC

In August, the developers of Escape from Tarkov added a season system to the game and launched the first one, called "Kord Breach". Now players have three options to play Tarkov: they can play in PvE Zone, old PvP, and also new PvP Season — in this mode, a separate "seasonal character" is created and players can choose perks that will simplify or complicate the gameplay.

Battlestate Games boss Nikita Buyanov recently decided to talk about how the Escape from Tarkov audience was distributed among these three modes, but he got something wrong. Now he has provided accurate figures:

Okay, I was wrong about the percentages of players in different modes. Here's what the statistics look like at the moment: 55% of players are in PvP Season; 38% of players are in PvE; 7% of players are in PvP.

Also, the creators of Escape from Tarkov plan to make an add-on for the game called Scav Life ("Wild Life") — its release is expected in 2027. In addition, the developers are going to rework night raids.

The New Year's patch is going to add a quest chain that will reveal some of the content from "Wild Life".
