PC gamers will get a GTA-like game on the release day of GTA VI - a budget crime action game has been shown

The release of Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for November 19, 2026. However, PC gamers will only be able to play it on YouTube for now, as the game will first be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.

However, a “GTA substitute” might be released on PC on that day. Steam users recently noticed a project by Brgames İnteractive studio with the characteristic title Phantom Vice Auto. The trailer was shown a long time ago, but now it has been remembered in light of the approaching GTA VI demonstration.

According to the description, this project will feature not two, but three anti-heroes who will have to jointly perform risky tasks:

In a neon-drenched metropolis steeped in corruption, betrayal, and an underground power struggle, three unlikely anti-heroes – a street hustler, a disgraced former agent, and a cold-blooded mercenary – find themselves embroiled in a brutal fight for survival. Navigating the treacherous world of Phantom City's criminal elite, government conspiracies, and media manipulation, they must undertake risky missions to rise to the top – or fall in a city where trust is a luxury.

The developers promise support for NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR technologies, “next-gen performance” (fast loading, SSD optimization, and DirectStorage support), as well as 3D spatial sound. In addition, it is stated that a Phantom Vice Online mode for 32 players will be available.
