Pearl Abyss will continue to actively develop Crimson Desert. In a new financial report, the studio spoke about the game's high revenue and confirmed the development of at least one major story expansion. The DLC is planned for release in 2026.
The developers also thanked players for their support. Since its release, Crimson Desert has received 17 updates.
