The story-driven action-adventure game The Order: 1886, released in 2015, never made it to PC, remaining a PlayStation console exclusive. However, PC gamers can still play this Sony Computer Entertainment project using the well-known shadPS4 emulator.
Recently, tests of The Order: 1886 on shadPS4 version v0.17.1 began appearing online. On a PC with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 graphics card and an AMD Ryzen 7 9800 X3D processor, more than 200 FPS was achieved in indoor scenes. However, when transitioning to the city, problems arise: in such cases, performance drops to 60-80 FPS.
YouTube channel author Christo Gevedjov conducted an extensive test on PCs with various AMD Ryzen processors, as well as on a "Ryzen 5 5600 + Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 580" build – often achieving a stable 30 frames, but during combat scenes, FPS drops and slowdowns could occur.
Players with sufficiently powerful PCs (e.g., RTX 5080 + AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D) note that after shader compilation, the game "runs smoothly, with virtually no stutters, drops, or freezes."
