Space Marine 2 creators canceled for "AI slop" and receive negative reviews on Steam - Saber becomes publisher of scandalous project

News 0

Recently, artificial intelligence fighters drew attention to Rideshare "Stimulator". This is a taxi driver simulator from UNIGINE studio, and Saber Interactive became its publisher. Screenwriter Stella Sacco accused Saber on social media of managers replacing her with artificial intelligence.

After that, studio boss Matt Karch spoke about the situation: he denied the fact of Stella's replacement (she was fired for another reason), and also confirmed the use of AI in Rideshare "Stimulator" and stated:

Honestly, right now I would be happy to replace [Stella] with AI. At least then we would be dealing with someone programmed to be honest.

As Karch promised, the Rideshare "Stimulator" page on Steam was updated and a point about the use of AI was added. Soon, users began to appear on the forum, calling the game "AI slop".

As a result, other Saber Interactive projects also suffered, such as Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. Now players are asking whether developers use artificial intelligence to create free content and premium add-ons. Some users have started leaving negative reviews about the game due to the studio head's stance on AI.
