Pokémon Pokopia has sold over 5 million copies worldwide. This accounts for approximately 21% of the entire Switch 2 installed base – the console has sold 23.68 million units.

The game has become the second best-selling title on the console. It is surpassed only by Mario Kart World with 15 million copies, and it outperforms Donkey Kong Bananza, which sold 4.78 million units.

The main development of Pokémon Pokopia was handled by Koei Tecmo. The game has already become one of the most popular Pokémon spin-offs in history.
