The fourth season of Fortnite Chapter 7 is named Override. The event's motto is: "Break the rules. Change the game." Published materials hint at references to classic games and their recognizable style.
One of the first confirmed collaborations is Sonic the Hedgehog. A short trailer showed Sonic and Green Hill Zone, an iconic location from the Sega series. A characteristic block from Tetris was also spotted in the video, and Epic Games later officially confirmed the collaboration.
The list doesn't end there. Epic announced a crossover with Persona, and Override materials hint at future collaborations with Pac-Man and Kingdom Hearts. Among possible guests are Crash Bandicoot and Mega Man, but these are just rumors for now.
Epic Games will likely reveal new details in the coming days. The Override event kicks off in Fortnite on August 20.
