Recently, the creators of Honkai Star Rail held a presentation for the upcoming 4.5 update, titled "A Bet in the City of a Thousand Stars." After the show, miHoYo (HoYoverse) traditionally published a selection of screenshots of the new content.
Honkai Star Rail 4.5 will add two "old-new" heroes (alternative character versions):
- Robin: Clear Melody (5-star rarity, Path of Remembrance, Wind damage type).
- Aventurine: Surf (5-star rarity, Path of Joy, Quantum damage type).
In addition, the Honkai Star Rail 4.5 screenshot collection included shots of characters enjoying beach activities, as well as battles with enemies, locations, and a car event.
The release of Honkai Star Rail 4.5 update is scheduled for August 26, 2026.
miHoYo also confirmed a Honkai Star Rail collaboration with another of its games – Zenless Zone Zero. The developers have not yet revealed details and only indicated the release window. According to insiders, characters from ZZZ will be added to the game.
This month, an event with the "Rostiks" chain started in Russia, and the list of participating cities will gradually expand.
