Recently, players once again remembered the original Spyro The Dragon (1998) from Insomniac Games. TheGamersJoint talked about a native PC port of the PlayStation 1 classic.
The project received the specific name "OpenPete" — it refers to the code name "Pete" that the authors used for this Spyro game.
Players will have access to full settings — you can enable vertical synchronization, operating mode, anti-aliasing, camera, LOD (level of detail), textures, and more. This PC port supports modifications and 240 FPS: the game runs smoothly and without problems.

A few years ago, Toys for Bob and Iron Galaxy Studios presented the Spyro Reignited Trilogy collection on consoles and PC — the classic adventures of the dragon Spyro were presented in an updated format. Earlier, Toys for Bob studio and publisher Activision announced a full new installment of the Spyro franchise: A Realm Beyond. The developers have not yet announced the exact release date of the game.
