At Disney D23, Square Enix showed a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts IV and confirmed its release in late 2027. Director Tetsuya Nomura assured players that no delay is planned.
We announced that the game would be released in late 2027, and I saw some people online saying, "Oh, you know, maybe the actual release date could still be delayed."
I just wanted to clarify – that will not happen. So I hope people will look forward to the game in 2027. The game's marketing has just begun, so I also hope you will look forward to new updates.
Kingdom Hearts IV will feature Disney worlds, including the Land of the Dead from "Coco" and the Underworld from "Hercules." Unique episodes with Mickey Mouse are also shown.
The game will be released on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
