Ubisoft Showcases New Rainbow Six Siege Operator, Rank, and Map Update - Operation Split Fire Teasers Revealed

News 0

In August, Ubisoft held a presentation of new content for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. With Operation Split Fire, a new operator will be added to the online shooter, the map will be updated, and more.

Noor is a defensive operator whose specialization is countering operators who rely on shields. With her special device, the "PU Kop'ye "Gor"", the operator will be able to fire five projectiles that penetrate shields and destructible surfaces and then ignite.

The developers clarified that Noor's projectiles work through floors and ceilings, as well as from adjacent rooms. The launcher can be used against shields, surfaces, or other operators' devices — for example, Castle's armor panels or Azami's "Kiba" barriers.

The new rank "Legend Division — The Ultimate Rank" and a map update for Villa were also shown. This is not a complete rework of the location; the developers adjusted individual areas of the map "to create new strategic opportunities and diversify bomb placement options."

Operation Split Fire is expected to be released on the main server of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege on September 1.
