The modding team HECU Collective is developing a remake of Half-Life: Blue Shift and is gradually releasing chapters – five of them are already playable. Recently, this project, known as "Black Mesa: Blue Shift", received fan-made Russian voice acting.
Localizers from IGROVIK TEAM VOICE studio presented an example of Russian dubbing for Black Mesa: Blue Shift and appealed to the community – players can now test the beta version of the localization:
This modification adds full Russian voice acting for the game Black Mesa Blue Shift. Since the events of this mod occur parallel to the main story of the game, the modification uses voice acting from GamesVoice. WE voiced the new heroes of this story.
The localizers clarified that the voice acting is not final: "there may be sound drops, missing lines".
