Several maps have been introduced in Arc Raiders, and throughout the day, alternative versions with additional conditions are launched. For example, "Appraisers" with valuable loot might appear, a thunderstorm or strong wind might start, or birds might begin to hide loot in pipes on the roof.
Such mini-events last for a limited time and, as a rule, are launched several times a day. However, due to time zone peculiarities, some Arc Raiders fans find themselves in a difficult situation. There are situations when a desired map condition activates too late, when it's time to sleep, or too early — when the player is still asleep or already has to leave, for example, for work.
Now the situation will change. Recently, Embark Studios announced the introduction of regional planning for map conditions:
We've been working to make the map state schedule better align with your playstyle. That's why we're introducing regional map condition planning. Starting with version 1.42.0, the map state schedule will shift to account for regions instead of a single global schedule. This means the schedule will adjust to peak hours in specific regions. This makes it less likely you'll miss a map condition no matter where you are.
Now Embark Studios will study feedback to adjust the new system. The schedule on the game's website has not yet been updated.
The developers have also fixed various technical issues in Arc Raiders. A full description of the August update is available at the following link.
